PURMUSSIONS!?

this is a permissions posts for mind-reading not that i'll use his mind-reading skills all that often but IT'S HERE

please answer these questions for me!!! :D

1. is it ok for joshua to go snooping around your character's head? it's ok if it isn't! i'm aware that some characters have past mind-reading related trauma, information you as a player don't want joshua to know, or some kind of barrier or resistance to mind-reading, or whatever! please elaborate if you feel the need! (if it's NOT OK go ahead and skip question two!)

2. if it IS ok, what kinds of information would you like him to find/what kinds of information would be the most interesting? joshua likes finding fears, weaknesses, and other strange memory/thought related flubs/anomalies (he could probably see if a memory has been doctored or if it's fake, for example), but if there's anything in particular you'd think would be interesting to play out, please let me know!

1) Sure, but she's not gonna like you for it.
2) She has a mix of memories of terrible child soldier/living experiment trauma and Awkward Teenage Girl Feelings. Basically she was raised in a laboratory by assholes trying to make the perfect pilot, and had a few friends there (one of whom is dead). Then she got unceremoniously ditched and is now a Giant Robot Heroine with zero social skills and a crush on the dumbest nerd alive.

1) Nope. She's a Jedi with special training from a Jedi-killer on how to resist mind-reading. Once she starts feeling someone dig in, you'll be getting nothing but arbitrary number sequences and possibly a Jedi trying to do the same back to you.

2) If you've played or watched Persona 4, feel free to infomod from that. Otherwise ask for details if applicable. She's also got a lot of sublimated jealousy (and self-judgement for being jealous) toward Yukiko and Yu's in-game relationship, and saw some freaky shit at Animus.

as a rule in general, joshua doesn't mind read people willynilly - he's used to it, but mostly feels as though people's headspace belongs to their own selves. it's something he learned from some minor character development in his game, so if latooni never finds a reason to catch his interest in that way, they could talk for ages and he'd never know. :'D

same rule i described as above applies, only if he does end up in a position where he does read her mind and she tries to reciprocate, she'll get nothing. it'll be like she's bouncing off a steel wall. if he's annoyed enough by her, he'll create an entirely false memory for her to sniff around in, the blatant believability of which he'll determine by how much misinformation he'd want her to believe. he's kind of a trickster though, it's very possible he'll just start giving her very detailed excerpts of the junes saga. :D
